Ninkear N10 Pro Mini-PC: Another Office Built on the N150 Processor ?

Ninkear N10 Pro Mini-PC: Another Office Built on the N150 Processor ?

Ninkear Mini-PC N10 is here another office built on the N150? Let together explore what it looks like from the design and even from the good advantages this device offers from it specs but also from device price.

The Ninkear N10 Pro model is actually a device in high demand. It is clear that this net top is not suitable for gaming due to the characteristics of the CPU (N150). But it is more than enough for everyday work at your office, in your home or even during your business trip. And regarding the small budget required to afford it, many people have enough of such tasks by asking themselves why pay more if I can pay less for a device that offer me the minimum I need in a reasonable price offer with good warranty?

Packaging & Picking

The Ninkear N10 Pro mini PC comes in a plain black package. One can only guess what is inside. But we know what's in the black box. There are the keys to the car. (No!)

In this presentation, we present a model but with high hop that the product brand will still work in upgrading and more design.

Inside the box, you can find the mini PC itself, a power supply, a set of Vesa mounts (bar and screws), an HDMI cord, and an instruction manual.

Below we will show the kit in more detail. Sometimes it is useful

A bar for mounting Vesa and four screws. The bar is also designed to be able to hang the computer on the wall, which is sometimes convenient. They also have a meter-long HDMI cord. The simplest, but sometimes very necessary.

 Bundled power supply outputs 12V 3A (36W)

The power supply itself is very compact. Most likely, it has already been made using GAN technology. The cord is ordinary, the plug is standard 5.5.

As for the instructions, we didn't even take a picture of it. As always, there is nothing useful in it. So now let's move on to inspecting the mini PC itself

Appearance of Ninkear N10 Pro Mini PC

Externally, Ninkear N10Pro mini PC looks good. The plastic case looks like aluminum, and the graphic elements on the lid make the case more pretty, and at least not boring. So you will not have a special need to hide it behind a monitor. Such a case will look very good on the table.

By the way, the elements on the lid are just paint, although they look like ventilation holes. And in general, they represent the letter N, as the first letter of the brand name.

True, sometimes we see people read it as Z, but it's not. Here it is N, you just need to rotate correctly. And to be honest, only after webegan to prepare the photos, w realized and saw that we had not taken a photo with the correct location of the letter N. But we hope that the representatives of Ninkear will not be offended by me.

If you look at the front side, you can see two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a headset jack and a power button.

There is also an LED hole to the left of the ports. It glows a faint white when the computer is running.

On the back side, there are two more USB ports, two Type-C ports, two HDMI, a 2.5G network port, and a DC port for power connection. There is also a grate through which air from the cooling system is blown out.

In general, the entire set of necessary ports is available. Except that we would like to see a single Type-C port on the front panel so that you can connect flash drives. But alas, what do we have. we think since the manufacturer placed the ports only at the back, then there was a reason for this. The main thing is that they are here at all, because lately we often come across flash drives only with a Type-C connector.

As for the side faces, there are ventilation holes.

The mesh at the holes is fine, which excludes the ingress of any foreign objects into the PC. But enough to allow air to pass through. The Intel N150 isn't the hottest CPU, but even it needs to be cooled. Especially if it works with overclocking.

As for the underside. Then there are just small legs and service information.

In general, we have no complaints about either the appearance or the build quality. Everything is done at a high level, as it should be with Ninkear products. Even budget models are always distinguished by a high level of quality.

By the way, the dimensions of the Mini-PC case are only 11 * 114 cm. Simple calculations tell us that this is only 0.48 liters of volume. And I'm still honestly surprised how manufacturers manage to make full-fledged computers in such small boxes. Moreover, these computers are very productive. Which is what we will see now.

Performance tests, benchmarks

Of course, we start our tests with CPU-Z and what it will tell us about the filling.

We can already say the classic, or even popular, Intel N150, which was introduced on January 1, 2025 as an energy-efficient solution for portable and office devices. The chip is equipped with four cores and four threads, built on the Intel 7 process. The maximum clock speed reaches 3.6 GHz and the multiplier in this processor is non-overclockable. Compatible with FCBGA1264 connector. RAM types are supported: DDR4-3200, DDR5-4800, and LPDDR5-4800, depending on the configuration of the device. In our device, the memory runs at a frequency of 2666, and in general, this is more than enough.

The next test is PreformanceTest 11 Evaluation Version in which the subj scored 1498.8 points.

A normal indicator for such systems. The weak point, as always, turned out to be 3D graphics. Because the video core built into this processor is not very productive. Still, this is more of an office system, and gaming solutions cost other money and are much larger.

Well, since this is an office system, e conducted a test for a modern office in the PCMark10 program. The quick test scored 3372 points, and the detailed 2364 points. Which is more than enough for office systems

The next test is 3DMark. Although this is a benchmark for more gaming systems, we still use it in reviews. To clearly see the capabilities of the computer and to be able to compare the readings with other models.

The next benchmark is CinebenchR23. In the multi-core test, the Ninkear n10Pro scores 2337 points, and in the single-core 913 points. In total, the performance in this benchmark is somewhere between the Intel Core i7-4850Hq and the AMD Ryzen 7 1700X.

Then we climbed into the AIDA64 and off we went. we ran all the microtests. The results are below.

Then we ran the RAM memory tests and the GPU test

At the same time, we looked at what the program shows on the built-in hardware (but if anything, we will disassemble and watch this lump further in the text).

Maybe it will be useful to someone. Well, then I launched a stress test in the same Aida

I didn't remember that I ran the test until two hours later, but what surprised me was the performance. 25W for Intel N150. Have you ever seen such a thing? Despite the fact that from the factory it is declared as a processor with a TDP of 6W, and most manufacturers work overclocked to 15W. Here it is 25W. But as a result, there is throttling. Alas, miracles did not happen. At full load, the cooling system needs to dissipate more heat, especially if the load, as in my case, lasted more than 2 hours.

Approximately the same situation is observed in the OCCT.

In real life, most likely, this PC will not have such loads, well, unless you try to play Cyberpunk 2077 on it, but to be honest, it will be a very strange experience.

Speaking of games. Such mini PCs can easily run games from 6-7 years ago, indie games and retro games. We often see that such inexpensive computers are taken in order to organize a retro console under the TV. And this is justified. After all, unlike full-fledged game consoles, in such PCs, any emulator can be installed without any problems, and by connecting a gamepad, we have a lot of hardware for emulating old game consoles.

We are still thinking about rolling on the Bazzite mini soon, but most likely we will choose something more powerful for this.

What's inside the Ninkear N10 Pro mini PC

Well, after all the tests, you can look inside the computer. It is not difficult to open, a screwdriver and pliers are enough.

Inside, in addition to the main motherboard, there is a protective metal plate. It is needed in order to distribute temperatures, add rigidity to the structure and protect elements from accidental foreign objects.

Also on the case you can see how the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antennas are located. They are brought to the very top so as not to conflict with the metal or elements of the motherboard.

As for the internal layout, here you can see an SSD from the manufacturer Gofato (a proven and fairly well-known manufacturer) and 16Gb DDR4 memory from QuanJi (a well-known manufacturer even in the CIS).

If you remove the memory, you will have access to the RTL8821CE network card (a repeatedly tested and reliable adapter). The fact that the network card is not soldered, but removable, is also a big plus. In which case, you can either replace or upgrade (well, what if).

In general, the inspection did not show any crime either in the assembly or in the elements.

Therefore, we put the computer back together, and now after all, we can use it. Well, we can move on to the results of the entire review.

Conclusion

To be honest, we didn't expect it. Usually, mini PCs based on low-end Intel processors are such boring work utensils: here's a browser for you, here's an office, don't go any further. And here it seems that the filling is modest - N150, and even with regular DDR4, but they managed to overclock to 25 watts, and this is really felt in the tests. Somewhere they even went too far - throttling under full load was not long in coming. But in practice, it is unlikely that anyone will force this mini with two-hour stress, like me. Not very fast as on top nettops, but not so slow as to suffer.

The build is good, the body is compact, the appearance is nice - it's not a shame to put it on the table. There are ports, everything you need is connected, and the HDMI cable is included in the kit - a trifle, but nice. The noise is moderate, the cooler is trying, the cooling is working. The plastic is solid, with elements of a design game - it's nice that it's not just a gray brick.

As for the tasks - office, browser, online cinemas, working with documents, remote work. Games - only light, indie, emulators. It will go well as a retro console under the TV if you buy a gamepad and roll emulators. Given the price and the availability of a warranty with service in the Russian Federation, it is quite a viable option.

Yes, we want DDR5, and a quieter cooler, and built-in Type-C on the front. But then it will no longer be the N10 Pro, but a completely different computer and price tag. And here - for your money, with minimal compromises, you get a neat working tool. It is a tool, a normal, honest, well-assembled mini-PC, for the office or, for example, for teaching a child. we would put one for myself.
