A laptop combined with a tablet is much more convenient than a regular one - and all thanks to a well-thought-out foldable design and a responsive touch screen. This combination provides flexibility, allowing the device to easily switch between modes to adapt to your tasks, whether it's typing, browsing content, or interacting with apps through touch. In this article, we'll run a variety of tests on the Ninkear YBOOK 15 convertible laptop.
Packaging & Picking
The laptop is sold in cardboard packaging without a color print. It looks simple, but the main thing is not the packaging, but the contents. Inside there are:
- 3.5mm DC Circular Connector Power Supply - 45W, 3A, 15V
- Ninkear A7 mouse and pad for it
- Stickers
- Supporting documentation

Appearance
This Ninkear YBOOK 15 model is unique in that it combines the features of a laptop and a tablet with a touch screen. Can be used as a laptop or folded for the convenience of a tablet. The sensor supports up to 10 simultaneous touches. The device is also equipped with a large touchpad with gesture support. And, of course, its weight is only 1.7 kg. Below are different views from different use options:

Testing
The device is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 3 3200U processor, which is the optimal solution for a wide range of basic tasks. Its capabilities are sufficient for:
- comfortable work with office applications (text editors, tables, presentations);
- watching movies in HD and Full HD resolution without lag or stuttering;
- listening to music in any popular formats;
- completing school assignments - from searching for information on the Internet to creating projects and reports;
- web surfing and communication in messengers and social networks.
The processor scores 1040 in the PassMark (Performance Test), a score typical of entry-level energy-efficient processors; 4140 points in CPU Mark. In terms of performance, the Ryzen 3 3200U is located between the Intel N100 and Intel N150 processors.

The system uses 16 GB of RAM in single-channel mode - this is due to the fact that the device has only one RAM stick. 16 GB is enough headroom for multitasking, Frequency: 2400 MHz is a standard indicator for this budget. Read/write speed: about 18,000 MB/s.
The processor supports up to 64Gb in dual-channel mode, so an upgrade is possible, but we believe this laptop doesn't need it.

The system uses an integrated Radeon Vega 3 GPU. In the 3DMark benchmark, it shows a result of 1760 parrots. The performance of the adapter is not enough for modern demanding games, but it copes with the launch of World of Tanks: at a resolution of 1920×1080, it is possible to achieve a stable 60 FPS, if you set the graphics settings to low.
The autonomy of the device is limited by the battery capacity of 5000 mAh - in various scenarios, the charge lasts for 2-4 hours. For comparison: when playing video in Full HD at maximum brightness and volume, the laptop worked for almost 4 hours. In the same tanks, the battery lasted for almost two hours.

We ran a stress test through AIDA - the temperature jumped to 96 ∘ C, this is the maximum. When we are just surfing the Internet or doing normal things, the laptop heats up to 80 ∘ C — and so it holds. Even if you leave the car idle, it still does not cool down below 60 ∘ C. We also measured the noise: under load it produces 20 dB. That's not much — just 2 dB louder than normal background noise in a room. Almost inaudible!

The device is equipped with a Wi-Fi module with support for two bands - 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
2.4GHz Band:
- Near the router, it provides a speed of about 50 MB/s — enough for web browsing, online HD video and video calls;
- At a distance of 10 meters from the router, the speed is reduced to 30 MB/s, but remains suitable for most everyday tasks.
5 GHz Band:
- Demonstrates a higher speed compared to the 2.4 GHz frequency, about 100 MB/s near the router — suitable for fast file downloads and high-quality streaming;
- It has a limited range: at a distance of 10 meters, the signal practically disappears.

Inside there is a 2280 M.2 drive. It is called Biwin SA80V4M10-512G. The volume is 512Gb, which is quite enough for school and office tasks. A small amount is already occupied by the OS. Windows 11 is factory installed and activated.
The speed of the drive is at the level of a regular SSD drive and is limited not by the drive itself, but by the bus of 600 MB/s. The speed of the installed drive is as follows: read 550, and write 420 MB/s.

The main matrix of the monitor operates at 60 fps and is marked SNF601BS1-4. A very common model and is used in many budget laptops. The price corresponds to the quality. The picture is bright, with saturated colors, although a little unnatural, but you shouldn't expect much from a budget IPS matrix. Most importantly, the eyes do not get tired during prolonged operation, as well as very good viewing angles.
The image can be displayed on the second monitor via HDMI, and it works without a delay in the output of information.

Bios is classic, there are no special settings in it. Get to the settings by pressing DEL.

The sound subsystem is represented by a pair of speakers on the sides of the case with a peak volume of about 60-65 dB - this may not be enough for comfortable viewing of content in a noisy environment. It is possible to connect external speakers: via Bluetooth connection or a standard 3.5 mm audio jack.

The laptop is equipped with a simple webcam that works in 720 resolution. Weak, of course, in the current realities, but this will be enough for simple video communication.

And the last thing. The keyboard has a white backlight. Not only the area around the keys is illuminated, but also the characters themselves. The backlight is adjustable in two brightness levels and is perfectly visible on both dim and bright screens.

All data is obtained using the CPU-Z program.

Disassembly
Disassembling this laptop is a trifle. All you need to do is:
- Unscrew the screws that go around the perimeter of the case
- Pry off and snap the latches on the edges of the case - they do not hold too tightly
- Do not forget about a couple of screws under the anti-slip pads - they are easy to miss. And another screw is hidden under the seal, it also needs to be unscrewed
Looking inside, you will see a free slot for the second stick of DDR4 RAM - you can add up to 65 GB of memory. But there is no second slot for the drive, alas. Also note: the Wi-Fi chip and processor are not removable here - they are tightly soldered into the motherboard.

Conclusions
An inexpensive laptop that can handle office tasks. Suitable for business trips due to its light weight.
Of the disadvantages: quiet sound, weak Wi-Fi. Otherwise, this is an ordinary inexpensive model with a touch screen and a cost of about 25-27 thousand rubles.
