Today’s market already offers a large number of laptop models for use across many sectors. However, there is still strong demand because many of the available options are sold at very high prices. In many cases, choosing a more affordable option means accepting lower configurations, such as weaker graphics performance or limited battery capacity, which can lead to performance issues and user frustration after several months of use.
Today Ninkear presents a model which is not only a very competitive from it price, but also can offer to it user all performance need whatever you are working with it as a student, designer, You are business man/women, working at home or always enrolled business trips, this is a model that totally will become your best partner and help you achieve or even improve your daily goals: Please welcome Ninkear A15 Pro !
Design and Packaging Content
The Ninkear A15 Pro specifications are as listed above, and here is the laptop itself already "freed" from the box. we have an engineering sample in our work station, without documentation, so keep that in mind. In addition to paperwork, we get a 100W power supply with USB-C connection. The charger is not modular, which we don't like, but if it's done for the sake of a compromise in price, then why not.
The laptop is painted gray, like most Ninkear products. The entire décor consists of the company name. No frills, no lines - a restrained office style. The display cover is metal, as is the bottom cover, but the rest of the case is in plastic. At the bottom we see perforations for speakers, an air duct, and on the sides there are connectors: on the left side there are two USB-C (one for charging), one USB-A and HDMI; on the right side, suddenly, we find a card reader for microSD, USB-A, LAN connector RJ-45, audio jack 3.5 mm and a slot for a Kensington lock. we are pleasantly surprised by the presence of a card reader! Still, early manufacturers began to forget about this topic and cut it out of their laptops!
Open the lid without passing the opening test with one hand. The maximum opening angle is 180 degrees. On the keyboard base, we see a full-size layout with a couple of nuances. Look at the lower left corner of the layout: for some reason, the punctuation key is lengthened, driving Shift behind the arrows. We won't say that this is an ergonomic disaster, but it looks strange. It took me half an hour to get used to this feature. If among the readers there are still fans of racing arcades with the habit of putting nitro on the right Shift, redo it.
The keyboard has a built-in white monochrome backlight function with two brightness levels. It is configured through the Fn2 + F9 key combination. After 35 seconds of inactivity, the keyboard turns off automatically the backlight, bringing it back when it's active. But after turning on the laptop, the backlight does not turn on automatically. Here you need to poke yourself. We would also like to note the presence of a full-size number block, which is a great blessing for me personally. No matter how much people enjoy "gaming" keyboards, the nampad has always been in place, is and will be.
The feel of the keyboard is pleasant. There is no special processing here, this is just the most ordinary scissor smooth layout. It is a pleasure to run your fingers on it, but the backlight is purely for night shifts: the diodes are weak for bright daylight, but they do an excellent job of navigating in the absence of lighting.
The touchpad of the usual size is 130 by 85 mm with a highlighted (top left) fingerprint area. Almost the same one is in the Ninkear S14 laptop, which was also recently on my review, and there we was a little scolded about its size - sometimes it did not let me in, unable to identify my finger. Here, in two weeks of use, we caught the mistake only twice, and then by touching it with wet fingers. We don't know what happened, since the dimensions of the sensor are the same, but still it works flawlessly here. The touchpad material is plastic. There are no questions about sensitivity, and scolding the budget segment of laptops for the material is a wild bad manners. The main thing is that it works well! And he copes with this task. we will also praise the hinge, which is located not at the edges, but in the middle of the laptop base. This will help to avoid cracks and breakdowns in the future.
Ninkear A15 Pro Screen and Sound Performances
The laptop is equipped with a 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels and with 100% coverage of the RGB palette. The brightness according to my measurements is from 370 to 405 nits - brighter from bottom to top on the display. The refresh rate of the display ranges from 60 to 120 Hz, and we can say that these are "office" and "home" modes of operation. For greater autonomy, we advise you to sit at 60 Hz, and you will need it here, we assure you.
The screen is very decent: there is no color distortion at the angle, the matte finish eliminates glare, and the brightness, although quite average, is still enough to work without having to squint your eyes.
What about the sound? Everything is as simple as possible here: two speakers in the table. Yes, the base, the classics, can be called whatever you like. The sound level is almost the same as any other budget laptop with a stereo pair. For everyday consumption, it's fine, but if you want high-quality sound, take headphones or speakers. And it doesn't matter what: wired, wireless. 3.5mm audio and Bluetooth in place.
Let's take off the lid and look at the rich inner world. It is hidden under nine bolts (using the PH00 cue ball). Inside, we will find the classics: at the top there is a cooling motherboard, at the bottom there is a battery. The processor is "hidden" under two cooling pipes that diverge to two of different sizes. The heart is a very clean AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS on 8 cores and 16 threads with an operating frequency of 3.8 GHz. In the boost, the frequency rises to 4.9 GHz. Red Power! You don't have to look for a video card here. The video core is for her! And this is the legendary Radeon 780m, which turned out to be too successful for an integrated video chip. Its operating frequencies are 800-2600 MHz.
The RAM here put as many as 32 GB of DDR5 DIMM format in two dies with a frequency of 5600 MHz. Against the backdrop of the current shortage, our A16 Pro (2025) is very lucky: starvation is not threatened.
Next, on the sides of the board, there are two NVMe PCI-E 3.0 drives of 1 TB each. Total: 2 TB. Even fatter! Of course, you can add memory. Just try to score 2TB first. By the way, under one of the drives there is a wireless communication module. Also replaceable.
Despite the rather powerful base of the laptop, we did not notice any overheating behind it. The implemented cooling system fully copes with its task. But a large appetite, on the contrary, is very noticeable.
A three-cell 58.33 Wh battery is quite noticeably "melting before our eyes": it may not be enough for a full day in office mode. Like the Ninkear A16 Pro (2025) is not a gaming monster. Why then is the battery consumption comparable?! we don't understand... Here's a quick summary of the autonomy:
30 minutes of typing in a text editor – 18%
30 minutes of playing Hearts of Iron IV – 35%
30 minutes of watching a video on YouTube at 1440@60 fps – 20%
*tests are conducted for 30 minutes at 70% brightness and 40% volume)
Quizzes
But this is all lyrics - let's run tests and games to find out - is the introduction of such powerful hardware justified?
In CPU-Z, the processor scores 663.6 points for the core and 6599.6 points for all threads.
CineBench 24 gives 104 points in the single-core test and 4th place with the prize money yielding only to Apple's stones, and the multi-core test gives a beautiful 888 points and 4th place, only with a more diverse podium of winners.
SuperPosition Benchmark gives a score of 11,548 points with an average fps of 86.38 in a 720p run. However, for embedding, these are still good results.
3DMark scores our 8745HS at 7253 points in the CPU Profile benchmark, and the Steel Nomad Light graphics test gives a score of 2531 points, which is still very good for integrated graphics and laptop stone.
Now for the games, there is a pleasant surprise here: we are very tired of testing the old GTA V, which the built-in kernels still cannot pull, so we threw in the audacity, believed in the Radeon 780m and ran Cyberpunk 2077 on it. And everything went! Not without compromises, but it worked!
In Cyberpunk 2077, at 1600x1000 resolution at medium settings and with FSR enabled, we get from 30 to 55 frames without going to 60 fps. While driving, you can lower the frame value to 20-25, but the fight scenes do not have such a drawback - the game is pleasant to pass, there are no delays in control. Even though the resolution is not native, but with generation and reduced settings, you can play in native at 30 fps. we are still for a higher fps than for the resolution. By the way, you can dig a little more in the Adrenaline settings and turn on a couple of optimizers, bringing the value to 50-65 fps! But post-generation plumes will be noticeable when driving fast. Is it necessary...?
In Counter Strike 2, we have 60-100 fps at native resolution. Is the Radeon 780m really so successful?! Well, just honey, not a video core.
And finally, WarThunder. The graphonistic confrontation of tanks, planes and ships can be started in native 1600p resolution and on medium settings. Here 45-55 fps are provided.
As for me, the Ryzen 7 8745HS processor paired with the Radeon 780m video core give such a great result that now we can officially abandon GTA V forever and switch to something much more gluttonous. If other embeds and processors can't produce at least a similar result (if not better), they don't deserve to stay in the gladiatorial arena!
Conclusions
The Ninkear A16 Pro performs very well in games, and its screen is extremely decent. It's a pleasure to use, print, and we can say that it's just the top among office workers. Such a person can start tanks during a break and not choke!
But, being an excellent laptop in its segment under 80 thousand rubles, it is still a hostage to the compromises that haunt budget ones: in our case, the A16 Pro (2025) received a weak battery for such cool hardware. Therefore, you cannot do without charging. But if carrying a block with a cable is not a problem for you (we don't see anything with bad effect or that will cuase you stress during work in this) - feel free to take it! The ultimate thing for everyday life, with which you can work out, watch a movie in the evening, and even play all sorts of multiplayer projects on quite acceptable settings!
